I helped build a new shopping experience for Spark's 60,000+ monthly app users. I undertook end-to-end UX/UI design, from research and product strategy, to final UI and ongoing experience optimisation.

The discovery phase combined generative and evaluative customer research with market analysis and internal interviews to determine key preferences, opportunities & expectations.
Using data points collected through our research and customer journey mapping, we found several themes highlighting key areas of opportunity for the app shop.
The result was a list of potential features, which were prioritised and thematically grouped into four experience pillars. These formed our North Star vision and outlined the product delivery roadmap.
Next I defined how the shop IA would integrate into the existing app interface and navigation structure. I fleshed out key user flows through sketching, prototyping, wireframing and customer testing.
The final UI layered existing design system components with new elements bespoke to the shop. I worked closely with our developers to ensure all designs were delivered smoothly.
The shop was a great addition to the app and a successful new revenue stream for Spark, receiving positive feedback from users and stakeholders. To measure ongoing success we implemented continuous testing and data tracking.
